AUTHOR PROFILE
Rieko Ooba (also known as Toshoya) is a calligraphy designer from the Shizuoka prefecture. She graduated from the visual design course of the Kuwasawa Design School and from the teaching course of the Nihon Kyoiku Shodo Geijutsuin (a school that teaches educational calligraphy art). She started her own business after working for various design agencies. From 2001 she works as a designer and ink artist under the name "Toshoya." She has provided abstract art for hotels, model rooms, apartments, etc. Her works have been displayed at various exhibitions (including in Paris) and have won prizes.
