  • AUTHOR PROFILE

    Koichi Hagawa attended the Fine Arts postgraduate course of Tokyo University of the Arts, then studied filmography at a summer school in the United States and animation at the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague. He worked as a painting instructor at Kodansha Famous Schools for 20 years. He currently displays his art at exhibitions and works as a part-time lecturer at the Nagaoka Institute of Design, as well as a lecturer at the Koto-ku drawing class and the Bumpodo Art School.

     

    Tsubura Kadomaru has always loved drawing and sketching, and in middle and high school was the head of the school's art club. She protected the club, that had become a manga study group and Gundam get-together, and its members, raising creators who now work in the game and anime industry. She studied oil painting in the Faculty of Fine Arts of the Tokyo University of the Arts at a time when film studies and contemporary art were thriving. She has authored, edited, and conceived dozens of drawing manuals.
